Old Man Winter

Brrrrr....it's freaking COLD outside!  I know those of you in the northern climes will be sniggering to yourselves when you hear our cold is 30 degrees F and the wind chill is only 20 degrees F.  The news says it is the coldest we've had in 2 years and I'd seriously forgotten how cold a 20 F wind chill feels.  We're also getting some bay effect snow flurries (no accumulation expected).  With the possiblity of snow tomorrow night, too.  And my daffodils were beginning to come up!  Bet they wish they had slept in a little longer now, lol.  But there are 60's in next week's forecast, so maybe I can survive.

It's looking like a good thing I got these finished up this morning.

(Yay, Blogger got the picture upload issue fixed!)

Details:  plain vanilla socks in Red Heart Heart & Sole Toasted Almond on US 1 (2.25mm) DPN's.

I haven't stitched on NLH this week, but since I didn't blog last week, here is a progress picture.

Nearly done with another page, but my mojo has waned a bit on this one again.  I'm also knitting a gift project and so that is taking away time from it as well.

On to my next pair of socks!

Happy Stitching!

It's A Girl!

And the girl in Nature's Little Helper has finally made an appearance.

(Seriously?  Blogger doesn't want me to share a picture.)*  :(

Ok, after giving it a few hours to "fix" itself,  I had to google to find out why I couldn't all of a sudden upload pictures and with a little finagling:

*some users are having trouble with the upload pictures window, ie the upload button does not show up.  If this happens, switch to HTML in the compose post and then try to upload your picture.  Supposedly, they are looking into why this is a problem all of a sudden...

New Year's Update

I've been stitching away this holiday and am making some progress.  I'm halfway through the current page on Nature's Little Helper:

I started a new pair of socks just before Christmas and I'm halfway through the first sock:

Red Heart Heart & Sole
Toasted Almond

It's been nice having a few extra days off in the last week, but now the new year kicks in and the next holiday for me will be Easter.  So, my stitching and knitting will likely be taking a hit and progress will return to it former snail's pace.

Wishing peace and prosperity for all in the New Year,

Tamara
