April Showers

It's a rainy gloomy morning here, but I have been productive so far.  I'm thinking it won't last the rest of the day, though.

I finished up the Winter Spell Humbug since my last post:

Just Nan

I finished a pair of socks (finally!!) this morning:

I have put a few stitches into Curl Up:

And I've done a good bit on a new Easter project:

Gingerbread Cube

Just Nan's Gingerbread Cube is all put together!

The Winter Hearts Humbug is all stitched and I just need to iron on the interfacing and sew it up.

Next up is spring-themed!  More Just Nan, Hoppington Hill.  Stitched on 32 ct Dusk Belfast.

We've had entirely too much snow and ice for our area the last couple of weeks, making it extremely stressful for me getting to and from work, as I don't like the way people around here drive in poor conditions (actually, I don't like the way they drive in good conditions, either).  And this is how they end up:

So, I'm glad we only have to deal with this weather once in a while, unlike so many up north!  And they are calling for a little wintry mess tomorrow night!  YUCK.  I'm enjoying the heck out of the 60's out there today!  Hurry up, Spring!!

Happy Stitching,

A Long Overdue Update

Although, I haven't been on the computer much this year, I have been stitching.

Just Nan's Gingerbread Cube is stitched, but not put together:

I just finished 5/48 pages on Curl Up:

Just Nan's Winter Spell is stitched and I just got it put in the frame:

I've been working on Just Nan's Winter Humbug:

After I finish the humbug, it will be Spring themed projects!  I'm sick of winter!

Happy Stitching!

Christmas Joy

Merry Christmas to all!!

Christmas Joy
Elizabeth's Designs

I changed the colors slightly and I wish I had used a little darker fabric, but it's still nice and pretty and very sparkly.  All that metallic braid cooperated nicely, as well.

Here's the Holly Jolly Humbug:

I have the Just Nan Gingerbread Cube all stitched, I just need to put the beads on this week.  I think I will try to get back to Curl Up for New Year's with a few little things thrown in for good measure.

Merry Christmas!

Finished Finshes

At last!

The Sweetheart Tree Keep Calm and Freak Out fob:

Freebie Mini Cat from Happiness Is Cross Stitching blog (with a couple of modifications):

Holly Jolly Humbug (Kincavel Krosses), front and back:

Next time will be the Christmas stitching and other WIP update.  Next week is busy, so it will hopefully be New Year's Eve for that.  I might even have a finish if I get off this time sucker and get to stitching!

Merry Stitching!

Progress Report

I've been so lax on updating!  I have been stitching up a storm, though.  I have finished stitching the Halloween Quadrille.

I was hoping to get it put together this week, but I don't think that's going to happen.

I made a tiny bit of progress on the Trick or Treat Sampler, not as much as I had hoped for.

There are two more bands done on this since this picture was taken;  just not in the mood for Halloween at the moment, lol.

I stitched an ornament for an exchange next week, Holly Jolly by Kincavel Krosses.

It turned out much nicer than I expected.  I need to get it sewn into a humbug ASAP.

And I caved and started something new.  I just couldn't resist the new Just Nan Gingerbread Cube.

I don't expect I will have this done by Christmas because I was bad and started another Christmas piece yesterday.  The next update will show that and the two finishes I got back, three if I get the humbug together.  Although, I might not get to sit here again until New Year's.  And I really want to do a winter piece before I start on Easter.  So much to do, sigh.

Happy Stitching,

Tamara

Progress Report

Here is this week's progress on Curl Up:

And the Halloween Quadrille:

I'm itching to get going on some Christmas stuff now, but I will be good.  I received my Just Nan new patterns, the Gingerbread Angel Mouse and the Gingerbread Cube, so cute!  I just ordered the fabric for the cube today and for another Christmas piece, so I will need lots of willpower soon or some additional ambition to get something accomplished on the Quadrille and the Trick or Treat Sampler.

Happy Stitching!
